Tour Itinerary

DAY01

Arrival and Kigali City Tour

Arrival at Kigali International Airport. Check in at your Hotel in Kigali and start Kigali City Tour. The city tour will introduce you to Kigali Genocide Memorial, Campaign Against Genocide, Local Market and go for horse riding at Mt.Kigali. Dinner and overnight at your 5 Star Hotel in Kigali.

DAY02

Transfer to Akagera National Park

Morning breakfast and transfer to Akagera National Park. En route go for Imigongo Tour to see how imigongo are made and the story behind them. Afterwards, go for Afternoon boat ride at Lake Ihema. Overnight at your Luxury Tented Lodge in Akagera National Park.

DAY03

Game drive and transfer back to Kigali

Named for Akagera River that flows along the eastern boundary and feeds into a labyrinth of lakes. Rolling hills of Acacia bush with panoramic views across scattered grassland, patches of thick forest and mosaic of swamp fringed lakes along the meandering Akagera watercourse contribute to this park’s almost unrivalled diversity and scenic beauty. Akagera is unique, large herds of buffalo, impala, crocodiles, Elephants and Zebra are mostly seen. Akagera National Park has regained its BIG 5 status and some of the big 5 can be seen while on game drive. Use your packed lunch while on game drive and transfer back to Kigali. Drop off at Kigali International Airport.
