Zac was so kind and friendly, we drove for miles to all the different destinations across Rwanda and Zanzibar meeting fantastic people all along the way, along with the amazing people I met who taught me all about their culture, the other highlight has to be gorilla trekking in Uganda, it was spectacular - got so close to the incredible species and got to learn all there is about them and the protection of them. I had the opportunity to hike almost every day, engage in community activities such as harvesting sweet potatoes and cooking them, harvesting tea leaves and learning about the tea plantations as well as the amazing museums, canopy walk, Lake Kivu which included Napoleon Island and Monkey Island. The highlight was obviously the gorilla trekking, but unforgettable moments we had by the encounter with the chimps, during the two days Congo Nile trail trekking, the camping nights in both Bishayu island (lake kivu) and in Burera lake (the one of the twins) but also climbing Bisoke volcano (hard but amazing)
We also had quite a few time to spend around the villages talking and playing with the children or enjoying a beer with locals and this fill our soul with happiness and joy
